The Glasgow University 5 mile Road Race
The Glasgow University 5 Mile Road Race is a long-running and popular race on the outskirts of the City of Glasgow. The race starts and finishes in Garscube Sports Complex, following a 2 lap course around quiet roads and paths. A mix of fast flat sections with the odd undulation thrown in makes this a testing and popular course. Check out the course map here.
The course has now been measured by a course measurer and is exactly 5 miles. The course will be mile marked.
The Glasgow University 5 Mile Road Race was held on Saturday the 18th February at Garscube Sports Complex.
The race was originally scheduled for Saturday 26th November 2016 but was postponed due to a sheet of ice on part of the course.

Many thanks to all our entrants for ensuring the race was a success despite it’s postponement!
